Last Thursday we had an opportunity to take the kids to the museum of flight!! At first I was skeptical if the kids would have fun but boy was we wrong. The energy they had was immense. They wanted to see everything and run around everywhere. I didn't even need to hit the gym that day. There were some challenges we faced as a group for example staying together and not touching the items in the exhibit. All in all it was great. I learned that we must set rules and expectations before even going but you live and you learn. Have a great week y'all and take care of yourself mentally not just physically.

What a time last week was, looking back after recovering from all the field trips the memories we made will last a lifetime. The saddest part of all this was knowing by the end of the week, two of our students were moving away. She was a leader and a very kind individual who always brightened the room with her many conversations. Madoat was her name, many from the community know her just ask around i'm sure she will be missed, but me... i won't, madoat was my number 1 hater and always will be ;) now let me talk about one of emily's favorite students, Azu. To be real i think azu liked chips more than us but his personality was something different. He was not afraid to express his feelings, he somehow had that magic to him even when i was in a bad mood can always find a way to make me laugh. That's just a small part of who they are and i dont have the vocabulary to convey what they meant for us and the community but I digress. I hope everyone has a great week and makes sure to enjoy the time you have with loved ones. Below are some pictures of last week slide through to see them all!!
